Mary At 90 years young, Mary Borkowski still works to produce quilts, but her days for making her wonderful and inventive "silk thread paintings" are long gone, she claims.

Borkowski has been described by Chuck Rosenak, noted folk art author, as truly on the "cutting edge" that helped define what we know today as contemporary American folk art.

Borkowski's work can be found in such pretigious private collections as the late Herbert Hemphill, Jr. and  Robert Bishop,  as well as in the Smthsonian and other museum collections.   The limited pieces available are sure to be desirable for the serious collector.

GoodArtGallery  is pleased to be one of a few
sources authorized by the artist for her works.
